Golden Coin
10×The coin comes up gold and the round pays ten times your stake. About one round in 250.
Instant cricket. One toss.
Call heads or tails on the coin that starts the match. Win the toss and the Captain's Call is yours: take the win, or stake it on bat or bowl.
How a round works
Make the call. Watch it fly. Decide what happens next.
Choose heads or tails and send the coin into the air. Win the toss, and the next decision is yours.
Pick heads or tails and set your stake. That is one tap, and it is everything you do before the coin goes up.
The coin is in the air for four seconds under the floodlights. Call it right and the toss alone pays 1.73× your stake, before any bonus.
Win the toss and you choose, the way a real captain does. Take the win, or stake it on bat or bowl and let the ball decide what it becomes.
No waiting around. No complicated rules. Just one call, one moment of suspense, and another decision waiting on the other side.
Simple enough to understand instantly.
Exciting enough to play again.
The Captain's Call
Winning the toss puts the money in front of you. Collect it and the round is over, or stake it on one more ball. Bat and bowl pay exactly the same: the choice changes the story, not the money. A century with the bat is a hat trick with the ball, and both are the same row of the paytable.
The outcome is drawn before you choose. Pressing bat or bowl cannot move it.
Across the whole table these outcomes average exactly 1.00×. Taking the Captain's Call does not change what the game pays back over time. It changes how the round is told, not what it is worth.
Bonuses
Any round can turn into one of these, whatever the coin does. They are rolled in the order below and the first one to trigger is the one you get, so the figures beside them are how often you can expect to meet each.
The coin comes up gold and the round pays ten times your stake. About one round in 250.
A one-handed catch at the rope, worth three times your stake. The one you will meet most often — about one round in 83.
Named for a run of form, but it can land on any round — there is no streak to build first. Pays five times your stake, about one round in 570.
The biggest of the four at twenty-five times your stake, and the rarest. About one round in 625.
The third outcome
Every call this game asks you to make has two answers. Once in a very long while the coin refuses both: it comes down, it teeters, and it stands up on its rim. That is THE EDGE, and it is the only thing here nobody gets to call.
A cap rather than a prize: one round can pay at most £500,000, which is the largest stake this game takes standing on the rim.
Provably fair
Every round is locked in before you bet and revealed once it is over. You do not have to trust our random numbers, because you can recalculate the result yourself.
Before the round opens, our server picks a secret seed and publishes a hash of it. The result is fixed from that moment, and we cannot change it without the hash changing too.
Your own seed goes into the same calculation. Neither of us can steer the result, because neither of us holds both halves of it.
When the round ends we publish the secret seed. Hash it, check it against what we committed to, and recompute the toss. The verifier is built into the game.
The numbers
Built by
An independent studio building original instant win games. Captain's Call is its flagship title.
Captain's Call is a gambling product. It is for adults, it is meant to be entertainment, and it is not a way to make money. The game publishes what it pays back over time — 95.5% — and that figure also tells you it keeps the other 4.5%.
Your age is checked against a date of birth on your account, not a tickbox, and the check runs on our servers against the minimum age where you live. Deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion are built into the game rather than buried in a form.
The demo runs on practice credits. No deposit, no card, and nothing to install.
